MISSION STATEMENT

We, the parish community of St. Rocco/St. Brigid are a people of faith dedicated to the mission of Jesus Christ, committed to enriching our spiritual lives through the celebration of the Eucharist and other Sacraments, through faithful daily prayer and through pondering the Word of God.

Inspired by the Holy Scriptures, particularly the Gospel, we encourage all people, to embrace the mission of Jesus Christ by the generous use of our time, talent and treasure. United with the wider church of the Archdiocese of Newark and the Church around the world, we are a people sustained by love of God and neighbor, offering hope in despair, a vision of peace in daily struggles, and working to bring about a just society for all.

We proclaim this Mission Statement, through Christ our Lord, in the Third Millennium of his saving Life, Death and Resurrection.

DECLARACION DE MISION

Nosotros, la comunidad parroquial de San Roque/ Sta. Brígida somos un pueblo de fe dedicado a la misión de Jesucristo, comprometidos a enriquecer nuestras vidas espirituales a través de la celebración de la Eucaristía y otros sacramentos, a través de la oración diaria y de la Palabra de Dios.

Inspirados por las Sagradas Escrituras, particularmente el Evangelio, animamos a todas las personas a abrazar la misión de Jesucristo mediante el uso generoso de nuestro tiempo, talento y tesoro. Unidos a la Iglesia de la Arquidiócesis de Newark y la Iglesia de todo el mundo, somos un pueblo sostenido por el amor a Dios y al prójimo, que ofrece esperanza en la desesperación, una visión de paz en las luchas diarias y trabaja para lograr una sociedad justa para todos.

Proclamamos esta Declaración de Misión, a través de Cristo nuestro Señor, en el Tercer Milenio de su vida salvadora, muerte y resurrección.
